Do you photograph and film LGBTQ+ weddings? Absolutely, yes. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, it’s important to me that couples feel safe, comfortable, and fully represented in their photos and films. Pride shouldn't just be celebrated in an allocated month, it should be felt everyday. Love is love, and it deserves to be celebrated and captured in all its forms.
What’s your photography and videography style? My approach is natural and documentary-led. I capture your day as it unfolds, focusing on real moments, emotions, and the story of your day. You won’t find me staging endless poses or interrupting your flow — instead, I blend in, so your gallery feels authentic, timeless, and full of life.
Can I hire a relaxed wedding photographer in Dorset? Yes — my approach is calm, inclusive, and pressure-free. I blend in, give light guidance for portraits, and keep group photos quick so you can enjoy your day.
What makes documentary wedding photography special? It preserves the real moments — the laughter, the glances, the atmosphere — so your gallery feels like the day itself. Alongside this, I also capture timeless portraits and family group shots so your story feels complete.

Can we book photography, videography, or both? Yes! I offer three collections — The Keepsake, The Chronicle, and The Legacy — each available as photography, videography, or hybrid capture (photos + highlight film together).
What is hybrid wedding photography and videography? Hybrid capture means I deliver both photos and a highlight film seamlessly from the same coverage. It’s one consistent style, one storyteller, and a joined-up timeline.
What are the best wedding photography and videography services in Dorset & the South West? It depends on what you’re looking for. I offer photography-only, videography-only, and hybrid options, with add-ons like albums, drone footage (where permitted), and extended hours for evening coverage.
Where can I find affordable wedding videography in Dorset? I publish guide prices on my website and in my interactive brochure. I also offer smaller coverage options and flexible payment plans to help suit your budget.
Booking & Payments
How far in advance should we book you? Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, but if your date is sooner, still get in touch — I sometimes have late availability.
How do we secure our date? A signed contract and a £500 non-refundable booking fee secures your date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding, with instalment plans available at no extra cost.
Do you offer payment plans? Yes. Most couples choose a simple Direct Debit, or we can set up a custom plan (monthly, quarterly, or milestone-based). The only requirement is that the balance is cleared 30 days before the wedding.
Will there be a contract? Yes. Every booking is secured with a clear contract that protects us both and outlines everything in your chosen collection.
Coverage & Travel
Do you travel for weddings? Yes! I’m based in Dorset but cover Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall, London, and the rest of the UK. I also take on destination weddings abroad. Travel within Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire is included; for other areas, we’ll agree a fair cost together.
How do I choose a documentary-style wedding videographer in the UK? Look for consistency in their films — natural audio, candid storytelling, and a calm approach. Hybrid capture is a great option if you’d like photos and film in one seamless package.
Do you work with second shooters? Yes. For larger weddings or where timings overlap (like both partners getting ready separately), I bring a trusted second shooter so we don’t miss a moment.
What happens if you’re ill or an emergency comes up? I have a network of trusted photographers and videographers who share my style. In the very unlikely event I couldn’t attend, I would ensure you are fully covered.
Do you have insurance? Yes. I’m fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity, for your peace of mind.
Do you carry backup equipment? Always. I bring multiple cameras, lenses, and memory cards so that your day is protected against technical failure.
Experience & Delivery
Will we meet before the wedding? Definitely. We can meet in person, over Zoom, or via email — whichever you prefer. I’ll also send a detailed questionnaire 6–8 weeks before your day to confirm timings and group shots.
How long will it take to receive our photos and videos? Your full gallery will be ready within 6–8 weeks (often sooner outside peak season). You’ll also get previews within a few days to enjoy straight away.
How do we receive our gallery? You’ll receive a secure online gallery to view, share, and download your photos and films. It stays live for at least a year, and you can extend it if needed. Prints, albums, and keepsakes can also be ordered directly from your gallery.
What happens if you’re ill or an emergency comes up? I have a network of trusted photographers and videographers who share my style. In the very unlikely event I couldn’t attend, I would ensure you are fully covered.
What about music licensing for videos? All highlight films are edited with fully licensed music, so you can safely share them online with friends and family.
