I’m absolutely thrilled to share that Fresh Eye Weddings has been named a Regional Finalist for Wedding Videographer of the Year in the South West at The 2026 Wedding Industry Awards!
The Wedding Industry Awards are one of the most respected celebrations of talent within the UK wedding community — recognising the very best photographers, videographers, florists, planners, and venues across the country.
How I Became A Regional Finalist
My journey to the finals began when one of my amazing past brides took the time to nominate me. From there, my current couples cast their votes, sharing their feedback and experiences from their own weddings. Knowing that this recognition comes directly from the people whose stories I’ve had the privilege to capture makes it all the more meaningful.
I put my heart into every wedding I film — not just on the day itself, but throughout the whole process. My contact with couples doesn’t begin and end on the wedding day. From the moment they enquire to the moment they receive their finished film, I aim to make every stage as seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable as possible.
On the day, I work quietly and unobtrusively, blending in with guests to capture the real moments — the laughter, emotion, and details that tell the story naturally. In the editing and delivery stages, I dedicate the same care and attention to create a film that feels authentic, heartfelt, and true to who my couples are.
Why This Means So Much
To be recognised in the South West — among so many talented wedding creatives from Dorset, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, and Wiltshire — is an incredible honour. It’s a reminder of how meaningful this work is, and how lucky I am to be trusted with such once-in-a-lifetime memories.

What’s Next
The regional winners will be announced later this year, and regardless of the outcome, I’m so proud to have reached this milestone. It’s an exciting reflection of everything Fresh Eye Weddings stands for — natural, documentary-style storytelling with a cinematic edge.
